Apple Turnover with Apples Cereal

The real apple pieces are a nice touch, not just flavoring, and they stay soft while the cereal squares keep their satisfying snap. I ate a bowl dry as a snack and it actually satisfied that pie craving, which I didn't expect.

The crunch actually holds up even after a few minutes in milk, which is rare for a cereal with real fruit pieces. Those dried apple bits add a genuine, slightly tart pop that makes it taste more like an actual turnover than a breakfast cereal.

I was skeptical about cereal tasting like a bakery pastry, but the real apple pieces mixed with that warm turnover spice got me finishing the bowl in five minutes. Even eating it dry from the bag hits the spot.
