The sliced almonds are what sold me — actual decent-sized pieces, not crumbs. The soy crisps keep it crunchy in milk way longer than regular granola, and it's gluten-free without tasting like it.
The vanilla flavor comes through warm and natural, not fake or cloying, and the almonds give it a nice buttery crunch next to those soft soy crisps. I've been sprinkling it over my morning yogurt and the subtle sweetness is exactly what I was after without tipping into dessert territory.
The texture is what gets me—those soy crisps and the Catalina Crunch pieces keep every bite from going mushy in milk. Sweetness level is just right, leaning on the vanilla instead of sugar, and the almonds give it a nice little crunch in the back of the mouth.
